November 17th, 2005 - David and Johnathan Redd

It was a cold, blustery day on the Jetty. With winds out of the ENE at about 25-30, significant swells rolling in and temperatures in the mid 40s - it bordered on foolishness to be out at the Jetty. However, David (my brother) and his son Johnathan came down from Bastrop to try and catch some reds. So we headed out. The water was about 65 degrees and was very very muddy.

This is the first Bull Red that Johnathan caught. Notice the joy etched in his face! (grin) It really was pretty miserable out there.
