Here is Chad holding a small shark (Sand Shark I think) that I caught. You ask - why is Chad holding it when Mark caught it? Cause Mark don't hold Sharks! (Grin)


This isn't a Sand Shark. This has been identified as a Smooth Dog Fish Shark primarily found on the East Coast! I have no idea how it ended up at the Jetty - - but you learn something new everyday! This information was given to me by Pope - one of the moderators at A great fishing website!

The article states the Smooth Dog Fish enjoys eating crabs. I caught this on one of the rods rigged with crab.
