August 20th, Dewey's Birthday - Offshore

Most of the time we don't venture much past the end of Galveston's North or South Jetty - but today was a special day. It was Dewey - my fishing bud's - 75th Birthday.

So I enlisted the help of Captain Cody for something out of the ordinary. We went offshore about 27 miles out and had a blast.

We brought home 8 nice snapper, 5 spanish mackerel, and 1 nice king. We also caught some undersized snapper and ling.

By the way - if you would like to congratulate Dewey on 75 years - you can email him at dewey1@academicplanet.com Let him know you saw it here!
